the Dalaverse

So I got back from Dragon*Con at about 2:30 am on Tuesday. A detailed, illustrated, possibly multi-part post is forthcoming, but at the moment I'm still recovering. Apparently there is this thing called the post-con blues? All I know is that yesterday morning I felt like Harry going back to the Dursleys' for the summer and nearly burst into tears on the way to work (might be some hormones at work there, too). Muggles Ordinary people are just so boring.

But long story short, I had an absolutely amazing time hanging out with some fabulous folks from jim_and_bones as well as forty thousand other nerds. I am definitely going next year and might be looking for some smaller cons closer to home in the meantime, because dammit, I have a costume and I bought it accessories and it needs to be admired.
