day 6 or whatever: my hands smell like a swamp

If I ever again decide to clean out the litter box and the shower drain on the same day (after neglecting the latter for far far too long), someone please slap me.

ETA because two things make a post: took one look at this promo pic for Branaugh's new Cinderella movie and instantly turned into a ten-year-old girl again. HER HORSE IS DAPPLED AND HER DRESS IS BLUE AND HER HAIR IS BLOWING FREE IN THE WIND. I've always been partial to grays. It'll have to work hard to be anywhere as good as "Ever After," though.

I feel your pain :-( Hopefully this morning finds you with shiny clean hands again!

And now there's a pony picture on the post too - yay ponies! That one looks like a rocking horse :D Shame they don't stay that colour, though.

I'm a purist like yourself, so nothing will ever be at the same par as "Ever After"...that said, KENNETH BRANAGH. And that cast! So many excellent stage actors, and of course, the lovely Richard Madden as Prince Charming. I'm super excited for this!

Is it bad that my first thought was, huh, she doesn't actually know how to ride? Although otherwise, that image is pretty as pie. :-) We shall see about the movie ... I loved Ever After, too, and so we shall see ...

Really, you think? What's so wrong with that photo? She's cantering bareback without a bridle, wearing a dress and is doing fine, I reckon. The more pressing question to me would be if Cinderella is a drudge, when did she learn to ride...
