Ness caught me reading fic once -- thank HEAVENS it was a gen Norrington piece and not, say, HOMOEROTIC SMUT -- and went "Are you reading fan fiction?" in this way that you could tell she was testing out the term. And I, smooth operator that I am, got carpal tunnel syndrome trying to close the window and babbled, "Yeah, but I don't like it, it's poorly written, I'm not reading the rest."
Pirate buddies ::shakes head:: I was trying to be all sneaky-typing while they were talking, but that's the point where I almost lost it. It's bad enough watching the movie with Ness over and over without squeeing during all the Sparrington scenes "They are so going to DO it!" But PIRATE BUDDIES...::dies::
Was watching a hilariously bad horror/scifi movie with Mitch Pileggi tonight and C. called it a "crossover". Really made me wonder. Still, though she may have dabbled in fanfic, she is no slasher. Pity. She and I could do wonderful things together. Hmm... should probably post the Pirate Poetry we wrote during therio. Wait, no, should probably NOT post that. *tries to have shame*
