Jack's a wicked one. But we knew that. The Commodore is repressed. But we knew that, too. But between the two of them, you've created something truly lovely.
The depth of caring that shines between the two of them is remarkable. Gabriel is healing Jack's physical ailments, while Jack is trying to fix up Gabriel's fractured psyche. Jack appears to be healing up quite well. Hopefully he's able to work a similar solution on the Commodore.
(Oh, and more kudos for the whole Jack/Bootstrap thing precluding Jack/Will. Let's face it, there's something like a minimum 10 year difference there, if not about 20 years. Call me weird, I tend to think it's a bit unlikely.)
