I've never actually seen the TV show, Oh, if you ever have the chance, you should definately watch it. It has only two plot variations - a. Starsky gets hurt / kidnapped / otherwise in trouble and Hutch goes nearly mad with worry and has to save his lover partner or b. vice versa. In fact, one might think, that show *invented* h/c ... And it always ends with massive hugging (on screen an shagging off screen). It's huge fun :).

I've never actually seen the TV show, though I've watched the spot on VH1's "I Love the 70's" a bunch of times. It did look very slashy.
