it's about time Bootstrap got the treatment he deserves.

I find it incredibly difficult to believe that both Jack and Will have forgiven him for the wrongs he did them. Which is not to say I don't believe they can't or they shouldn't -- it's just that the movie never describes how, and very few authors seem to want to deal with it.

I *want* to deal with it--have started monster Jack/Will centering around the Bootstrap issue--and then walked away from said story a month or two ago and never looked back.

Ok, occasionally I peek over my shoulder to see if it's still following me. I think it's catching up.
