Am I happy? Oh yes....

This story is just going to keep getting better and better, I know it! The interaction between Jack and Will is fun and easy. I love how Jack, as the older one, should be the father figure to Will and yet Will kind of plays the role of Jack's keeper. ^_^

Loved Elizabeth's savviness in how she does respond to Jack's charisma and yet still has enough wariness to hold back.

Love this part: "Jack was almost inclined to believe the governor fancied the man, the way he talked about him." Made me think of the JackDav/Keira Knightly commentary in which he talks of "courtly man love".

Definitely loved the connection that Jack and James made the moment their eyes met. Melting brain...puddle. The wonderful, sharp contrast between Jack's dreams of cool, green water and James's dreams of dark, burning fire is really intense.

And the sparks are only going to lead to more fire...^__^ Most excellent writing!
