My mother, my dear sweet mother, left work to go home and get the doctor's receipt, then faxed it from there. Susan from the health services office stayed late to get it and take the hold off my account. Susan is my favorite person EVER and I just called to tell her so. I will gush at Mommy later tonight, after "Gilmore Girls" which is the perfect time for gushing at one's mommy.

And you know what else? Everything else in my scheduling was open, INCLUDING SAILING. I am going to learn how to sail and then I get to take boats out FOR FREE, WHENEVER I WANT.

I'm going to e-mail Richardson and beg her favor, but even if I don't get into that class, I've got an interesting-looking soc class, Social Change, signed up at the same time.

Blue skiiiiiiiies. For real too! It's not raining anymore and it's actually, if you pretend a little, kind of warm! ::frolics::

I'm still going for a drive because "Sleepy Hollow" is due at Blockbusters. But this will be a Drive of Victory, not a Drive of Misery and Shame and Despair.

And then I'm going to come back and write my little registered heart out.
