Auuuuuugh, make it go away!

The earthquake bunny is back. This is an idea for a fic that haunted me back when I was writing the Port Royal paper. It would be a long fic in which PotC does not exist in some parallel universe but in this one, where our characters would have to suffer the consequences of the 1692 earthquake. It might as well be named the Giant Wheel of Gut-Wrenching Misery and Death (tm Buffy). Or simply, ANGST!

It is most likely a bad, bad idea. But I think I'm going to write it anyway.

And I'm bound and determined to finish the request ficlets in the next two days, and I have an actual idea for my polyficathon story, and the rest of Brothers in Arms is merrily writing itself in my head, so all is well on the writing front.

The heat, oh the HEAT. Granted, it claims to be only 83 degrees, but that is 83 degrees in D.C.-speak -- the humidity is at 66% and it feels like 105.

It is so hot that I am volutarily going to the pool, because immersing myself in cold water until my skin turns pruney seems to be the only sane option. And MY BATHING SUIT IS CUTE, GODDAMMIT. Plus, ice cream man! (Perhaps I will put forth my round-the-clock ice cream service idea to Moe. We could split the profits.)

Hmmm. As per Dr. Marc's new rules, we are only supposed to call the office if it's an emergency. Surely my need to know where the hell my pool card is qualifies as an emergency.

Last request for pigeongirl99: J/W, jealousy. Title from the Killers' "Mr. Brightside," which always makes me want to write twisty, angsty threesome fic. Speaking of the devil, after these three, veronica_rich, your request is going to be angstful.
